The article is devoted to the analysis of specific bone artefacts (named as “cones”) attributed to Lola and Dnieper-Don Babyne cultures. The thesis about the origin of the cones application in Lola culture and borrowing of this tradition by Dnieper-Don Babyne culture is proved. The characteristic morphological features of Subcaucasian and Azov-Don traditions in cones production are determined. The questions about cones function are discussed.
