Article published data on the discovery of the Dwelling-Place Varenovka III in the East Sea of Azov Shield-Shaped Cheek-Pieces (2007) (fig. 1). Conducted use-wear analysis Cheek-Pieces (fig. 2), determined the chronological range of findings. For the territory of the Azov Sea finds ancient cheek-pieces is very rare, and shield-shaped cheek-piece found in the settlement Varenovka III – the first finding of such products on the Azov settlements of late middle age – the beginning of the Late Bronze Age.
